The new Disney Vacation Club construction at the Grand Californian Hotel is just one small part of what The Walt Disney Company has planned out west. Several weeks ago the Board of Directors approved significant funding (reportedly upward of $1 billion) to upgrade the Anaheim theme park complex. Today TWDC made that investment official and gave us a sneak peek of what this investment will include.
On Sunday Walt Disney World raised prices on most tickets including all flavors of the Magic Your Way passes and Annual Passes.
On Tuesday May 1st tickets go on sale for the 2007 editions of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and DVC members are again eligible to receive discounted admission for select dates.
DVC and Annual Passholder previews for Monsters, Inc. The Laugh Floor Comedy Club scheduled for January 19-21, 2007 have been cancelled. The attraction’s opening has been delayed several months while Disney Imagineers look to enhance the attraction’s script. Reportedly the delay is not due to technical issues so much as lackluster guest response to the stand-up comedy segments.
