The July 4th holiday is prompting a one-day closure for Disney Vacation Club Member Services, as well as a few other changes worth noting.

Disney Vacation Club has adopted a new policy of placing a hold on contracts when they are passing through the Right of First Refusal process. 

Disney Vacation Club owners who are deemed to be primarly renting points for profit may lose access to make new online bookings, modify existing reservations, complete online check-in and more. 

Effective immediately, Disney Vacation Club is adding tax to the cost of One Time Use Points resulting in a 12.5% price increase for owners.

Disney Vacation Club Member Services, Member Accounting and Member Administration will experience some closures during the upcoming holiday season.
