Disney is offering discounts up to 40% off at Disney's Old Key West and Saratoga Springs resorts for "Friends and Family" of DVC members during the period of August 24 to September 27, 2008.

The Disney Vacation Club previously announced a special members-only offer for their new portrait package at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort.  The orginal ending date for the promotion was June 30, 2008, but it has now been extended through August 15, 2008.

Another special event is on tap for Disney's Doorway to Dreams sales center outside of Chicago, IL.  The approaching sell-out of Saratoga Springs Resort has members buzzing regarding a possible DVC Contemporary announcement during the event.

Summer is nearly here, which means it is time for the summer 2008 issue of the member-exclusive Disney Files magazine.  The cover story is (obviously) the new Toy Story Midway Mania attaction, but the 30-page mag covers topics which will appeal to most Disney fans.
