Earlier this month Disney Vacation Club altered its policies on Disney Dining Plan purchases. Members no longer have unlimited flexibility to purchase different Dining Plans for different days of their stays, varying number of villa occupants, etc. However some flexibility does still exist which may benefit members.

Disney Vacation Club has begun emailing members, reminding them of an upcoming point banking deadline.
In October 2010 Disney Vacation Club members gained the flexibility to book a Disney Dining Plan for only a portion of their stay rather than the entire duration. Effective immediately this policy has been reversed and Dining Plans can only be purchased for the entire length of stay.
Earlier this week Disney Cruise Line announced its itineraries for 2012. Included in the ports for the 2012 sailings are New York, Seattle, Galviston and Los Angeles.
DCL will begin accepting reservations from the general public on Friday, April 8. Disney Vacation Club members can also begin booking the 2012 cruises with points at that time. Due to expected demand, DVC Member Services will reportedly open at 8:00am EDT on Friday 4/8/11 to accommodate 2012 cruise reservations.

There are only days left to submit an agreement to purchase Disney Vacation Club points via the secondary market and retain all of the booking options afforded to members.
