With little more than 11 weeks to opening day, work on the Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is moving at a feverish pace.

Disney Vacation Club has reversed a previous decision and plans to give owners of the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel a two week priority booking period. Additionally the resort opening has been accellerated and will now occur two months sooner than expected.

This week's Disneyland Resort Update at MousePlanet.com features a brief blurb about progress on the new Grand Californian Disney Vacation Club resort.  Also included are recent photos of the building exterior and an update on work underway at nearby Disney's California Adventure. 

The Orange County Register published story on the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel to coincide with the start of point sales for this tenth Disney Vacation Club property.
