The Themed Entertainment Association has released its theme park attendance estimates for 2019, reflecting increased attendance at 3 of the 4 Florida parks and no change in California.

Government and health officials are coming forward about the prospects for mass gatherings before a vaccine is available for COVID-19, and the comments are not promising for those hoping to visit Disneyland or Walt Disney World.

Disney has confirmed its entertainment venues will remain closed past the original March 31, 2020 deadline, but refuses to name any new reopening estimate. 

The order from Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings would seem to prevent Walt Disney World from opening any earlier than April 10, 2020. Meanwhile Universal Studios Orlando has announced that it will remain closed through April 19.
