The FAQ regarding the Animal Kingdom Villas posted on DVC’s own website now indicates that the Jambo House accommodations will all be converted to DVC units by January 29, 2008. The date has been moved up significantly from the original estimate of May 1, 2008. Kudos to “LisaS” on the DISBoards for spotting this change.
DVC has begun contacting those who are eligible to be listed on the Animal Kingdom Villas Founding Members tapestry. To recap, all individuals who were existing DVC members as of February 2007 were extended an offer which included being cited as “Founding Members” on a tapestry which will eventually hang in the lobby of the forthcoming Kidani Village facility.
Linda Mac, correspondent for Allearsnet.com, was the very first guest to arrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas on July 2nd.
Website MouseSavers.com is reporting that Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will be “mostly closed” between July 9 and September 1, 2007.
