More villas have been declared for the Disney Vacation Club inventory at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.  The new declaration contains eleven two-bedroom villas and accounts for 179,190 points added to the DVC program.

Disney has scheduled a refurbishment of the slide at the Samawati Springs pool for early 2012.

Disney recently unveiled a new specialized dining event at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas:  "Dine with Animal Specialists - An 'Untamed' Lunch at Sanaa."

On August 16, 2011, Disney Vacation Development declared and added 10 more two-bedroom villas to the Disney Vacation Club inventory at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.

The original Animal Kingdom Lodge--now known as Jambo House--recently celebrated its 10th anniversary.  The Orlando Sentinel published an interesting look at many of its aspects which appeal to Walt Disney World guests and Disney Vacation Club members alike.
