While this should be firmly filed under the heading of "rumor", current information suggests that the Animal Kingdom Villas' Kidani Village is headed for an opening around April / May 2009. 

Disney has a had a couple of new additions to its savannas in recent weeks--one of whom will share his name with the new Kidani Village facility at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. 

Construction is well under way at the Animal Kingdom Villas Kidani Village facility, currently scheduled to open in early 2009.  Let's take a look at some recent photos of the work completed to-date.

Construction work at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas has forced officials to temporarily remove animals from the resort's Sunset Savanna.  Disney Vacation Club has issued a statement detailing how the situation will impact members.
