Bay Lake Tower

The Walt Disney World Company (aka Worldco) has begun filings with the Orange County Comptroller's office for the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Villas.  Among the documents recorded today are the Master Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, Exhibit A detailing the first units to be declared into inventory and the Declaration of Condominium.

Allearsnet has posted some close-up photos of that curious-looking structure at the top of the new Contemporary building; rumored to be a future Disney Vacation Club resort called the Bay Lake Tower.

WDWMagic.com is reporting that the new quick service dining dining location at Disney's Contemporary Resort is to be called the Contempo Cafe. 

This new restaurant is scheduled to open soon, and will occupy the space previously held by the Concourse Steakhouse.  

In his latest blog entry, the Orlando Sentinel's Jason Garcia reports that Disney has been awarded a food service license for a counter service restaurant currently going by the name "Bay Lake Tower Finish Kitchen." Bay Lake Tower is the current operating name of the rumored Disney Vacation Club addition to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

The projected completion date for this new dining facility is listed as September 1, 2009.  That date agrees with other work permits which had the new Contemporary structure's completion date falling within the month of September '09.
