From August 14 through September 16, 2025, Disney Vacation Club will celebrate its members with a series of promotional events throughout its timeshare resorts and Disney theme parks, as well as an opportunity to tour the refurbished rooms at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins.
After making its debut in the summer of 2024, Welcome Home Weeks is back for 2025 with a new wave of special events just for members. The expanded lineup includes ice cream giveaways at all 6 domestic Disney theme parks, as well as Disney Springs and several resort hotels. This perk comes to all 4 Walt Disney World parks, Disney Springs, both Disneyland parks, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney's Vero Beach Resort. Each location offers 1-2 promotional days per week, with a window of 2-6 hours for members to claim their free Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, ice cream sandwich or fruit bar.
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel will each host several morning coffee events for members staying at those locations.
Character meet events will be held multiple times at the BoardWalk's Atlantic Dance Hall, The Adventure Room at Disneyland Hotel, Vero Beach, Hilton Head and Aulani.
Also returning are a 20% discount for one quick service meal purchase, but this time it is only valid at Disneyland restaurants. Walt Disney World guests can save 40% at a select list of table service restaurants. The higher discount applies on Monday through Thursday at the following locations:
- Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park (Lunch & Dinner)
- Toledo –Tapas, Steak & Seafood at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort (Dinner)
- Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside (Dinner)
- Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort (Dinner)
- The Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom Park
- Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
- Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT
- Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort (Breakfast & Lunch)
New for 2025 are a complimentary doughnut each Wednesday beginning August 20 at Everglazed Doughnuts & Cold Brew and free candy at Movies Under the Stars screenings at several DVC resorts. Members can collect a free resuable tote bag from the DVC preview center at Disney Springs and a Welcome Home Weeks button from a variety of DVC lounges and sales locations.
Disney Vacation Club also plans to host member preview tours of the villas currently being refreshed at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Dates and times for the villa tour are TBD.
Members who cannot attend the events in person will still receive a special Disney Vacation Club magnet in the next issue of Disney Files Magazine, along with access to downloadable wallpapers for their electronic devices.
