Portions of the gift shop at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort will be closed for the next several weeks as crews complete maintenance work.
Construction walls are up in Boutiki, the first floor gift shop at the Polynesian Resort. A post from Elaine on the Facebook group for Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows shows a good portion of the shop currently inaccessible to guests.
In recent weeks, the location has been plagued by water leaks from above. This project aims to address those issues and replace damaged flooring.
Expect large portions of the shop to be unavailable in the coming weeks as workers shift their focus to different areas of the shop. They hope to have all issues resolved by the end of June, however refurbisment timelines are always subject to change.
