Disney Vacation Club members sailing aboard a Disney cruise may receive colorful new lanyards with a series of familar park icons.
When cruising as a Disney Vacation Club member, owners are invited to collect a series of free promotional items throughout the voyage. The daily giveaways include things like luggage tags, travel bags, lip balm and more. One of the standard items is a DVC lanyard, which can be used to store one's Disney Cruise Line Key to the World card.
The current lanyard design is an aqua blue color, featuring imagery familiar to Disney theme park fans. Among the icons are a Mickey Mouse-shaped balloon, a Mickey ice cream bar, a princess crown and a Dole whip. They include a pouch to hold the cabin key card, and lettering which reads "Disney Vacation Club Member."
The lanyards and other gifts are available for free for all current owners by stoping at the Disney Vacation Club Discovery desk on the ship. For cruises up to 7 nights in length, members can visit every day for a new giveaway item.
Also, check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for details on Disney Vacation Club meetings for both current and prospective members. The meetings typically feature free cocktails, a character appearance and perhaps other giveaways. Buyers may also be offered extra incentives for purchasing points while on the cruise.
