General Registration Opens at 11:00am for Summer 2025 Moonlight Magic Events

Member Benefits and Perks

On Thursday, May 22, eligible Disney Vacation Club members have a second chance to register for one of three Moonlight Magic events in the summer of 2025.

EPCOT Spaceship Earth Night

At 11:00am Eastern on Thursday, May 22, general registration takes place for the three Moonlight Magic events in summer 2025. Dates include:

  • EPCOT July 17, 2025
  • Disney's Typhoon Lagoon: August 11, 2025
  • Disney's Hollywood Studios: September 1, 2025

The link for the virtual queue waiting room will be posted later today on DVC's Moonlight Magic information page

During general registration, Disney Vacation Club owners who qualify for Membership Extras can register for themselves and up to 4 guests. Beginning in 2025, members may only attend one Moonlight Magic event per season. The same virtual queue will be utilized for all 3 events in July, August and September, and participants must select just one event night when registering.

Moonlight Magic is a free after-hours event exclusive for DVC members. The event includes complimentary admission to the theme park. Guests will be able to enjoy their favorite attractions with anticipated short wait times, unique character encounters, free snacks and more. Check out our recaps of recent Moonlight Magic evenings at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney California Adventure

Advance registration is required in order to attend Moonlight Magic. Members are advised to enter the waiting room before 11am eastern. At exactly 11am, each individual will be assigned a random slot in the registration queue. Availability tends to be very limited during the general registration period.

These are the last three Moonlight Magic events currently scheduled for 2025. In 2023 and 2024, Disney Vacation Club added dates during the fall timeframe on shorter notice. No word on whether the same will happen in 2025. Plans for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, along with moving Extended Evening Hours to other parks, would seem to make advance scheduling more difficult during the last 3 months of the year. Stay tuned for any word regarding potential fall Moonlight Magic additions. .
