Several Disney Vacation Club resorts have crowd control measures in place for Independence Day, while DVC business offices are closed for the day.
Disney Vacation Club Member Services, Member Administration and Member Accounting will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025 in observance of Independence Day. During the closure, members may use DVCMember.com to make and cancel reservations, bank points and perform other tasks supported by the site.
All DVC offices will re-open at 9am on Saturday, July 5.
Due to the popularity of viewing Magic Kingdom fireworks from Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, on July 3rd and 4th beach areas will be roped off and available only to guests staying at the resort. Wristbands are being distributed to guests, and cast members will be on hand to check credentials before allowing individuals into the fireworks viewing area.
The elevated Terrace Gardens are always restricted to guests staying at Island Tower. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Top of the World Lounge at located in Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is typically available to all Disney Vaction Club members. However on the nights of July 3 - 4, access is often limited to guests staying at Bay Lake Tower only. See the resort lobby for signage to confirm or speak to a cast member. The outdoor platform on the 4th floor of the Contemporary Tower is expected to be open to the public.
DVC "Membership Magic" discount perks are subject to blockout dates throughout the year. Disney Vacation Club no longer publishes a comprehenisve list of blockout dates, stating only that members perks are not available on dates "including, but not limited to, Christmas and New Year's Day." Members may wish to check with a Disney Cast Member to inquire regarding the availability of member discounts, particularly on Friday, July 4.
The DVC Sorcerer Annual Pass does not have any blockout dates around July 4th.
