The buffet restaurant at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel is back open with a new dinner featuring Donald Duck, Clarabelle and other Disney favorites.
After closing in March for a multi-week refurbishment, Storyteller's Cafe has reopened to guests. Changes to the venue include a more open layout. But the real news is the Donald's Tales of Adventure Dinner Buffet. The meal features visits from Disney characters including Donald Duck, Clarabelle, Goofy and Pluto. It is available from 4pm to 9pm daily with a menu that includes the following:
- Baby back spareribs
- Slowroasted prime rib with creamy horseradish
- Fried chicken
- Creamed corn
- A variety of vegetables and salads
- S’mores bread pudding
- Sweets and confectionaries
- An array of beverages
Prices start at $36 per child and $62 per adult age 9 and up. Disney Vacation Club owners are eligible for a 10% discount.
Also available is a breakfast buffet featuring Mickey Mouse and friends. In the coming weeks. the restaurant will offer special menus for holidays that include Easter and Mother's Day. Addiitonal details can be found on the Storyteller's Cafe web page.
