Following a 2 month closure, the dedicated entry point to Disney California Adventure is now available for guest use as renovations on the villa wing appear to be wrapping-up.
The private entrance connecting Disney's Grand Californian Hotel to Disney California Adventure has reopened. The location closed two months prior to accommodate changes to the guest entry system.
Also, scrims covering the Disney Vacation Club wing of the resort were recently removed, signaling an end to exterior refurbishment work on the building. The construction notice has been removed from Disney websites. All villa rooms appear to have been updated, however multiple reports confirm that there have ben no updates to bathrooms in any of the villa types. This was to be the first full refurbishment of the villas since its opening in 2009.
