The Porte Cochere and other exterior portions of Disney's Beach Club Resort will undergo a multi-month refurbishment in the second half of 2025.
From early June through September 2025, exterior maintenance work is planned for Disney's Beach Club Resort. The project will necessitate closure of the Porte Cochere arrival area. However, Disney notes that valet parking, luggage assistance and transportation services will remain available during the refurbishment.
Projects of this nature may include repairs or rebuild of building exteriors, painting, roof replacement and other general building maintenance. Work will be performed during daytime hours. Crews will use scrims and construction barriers to block some of the work from view. However some amount of guest disruption is unavoidable. Expect that foot traffic routes will be adjusted while the Porte Cochere is unavailable.
This is the latest in a series of projects designed to refresh Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. The Stormalong Bay feature pool complex is currently in the later stages of a 6-month closure. It is expected to reopen at the end of June 2025. All Disney Vacation Club villa interiors were refurbished back in 2023. The Dunes Cove quiet pool was also refreshed in late 2023.
