The new birdcage-themed lobby bar at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is just a few days away from its grand opening.
Via X.com, Disney blogger Scott Gustin reports that the new Grand Floridian lobby bar, dubbed The Perch, will officially debut on November 10, 2025. The bar will sit in the same lobby location that previously hosted a decorative birdcage.
Renovations to the Grand Floridian lobby have been ongoing since April of this year. In recent months, crews have updated the resort's front desk, installed new lobby carpeting, refreshed the iconic grand stairway and elevators, and more. Changes are also underway in the former home to the Grand Floridian's Garden Tea Room, reportedly paving the way for the future return of a similar tea service.
It is not known if November 10 signals the end of renovations at the resort, or if work in other areas is due to continue. The refurbishment notice currently posted by Disney does not feature an end date. Disney previously announced that the lobby gingerbread display would not be offered during the 2025 holiday season.
