Late Summer 2025 Incentives Yield Better Prices on Fewer Points at Several Disney Vacation Club Resorts

After several months of unspectacular direct purchase incentives for Disney Vacation Club points, Disney has finally unveiled an offer designed to catch buyers' attention. Current owners looking to add 150 points or more at Disney's Riviera Resort qualify for a discount of $24 off each point. That's double the incentive offered during the last period. First time buyers can also save $24 per point, however they need to purchase at least 200 points to do so. Still, the savings on a 200-point initial purchase more than tripled from the prior $7 off.    

But wait, there's more!

Prices for The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are even better with higher incentives that kick-in at lower purchase levels.  First time buyers can save $28 per point by purchasing as little as 150 points. This size purchase would also qualify them for all of the DVC Membership Extras. 

Current owners will save an impressive $28 per point with just a 125-point add-on, for a net price of just $207 per point. 

Those interested in Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows don't make out quite as well. In fact, at the lower levels incentives have actually decreased. Add-ons of 100 points will save just $4 per point while at 125 it increases to $5. At the 150-point threshold, things improve nominally with a $10 discount off of the $235 retail price. First time buyers also see minor improvements of a dollar or two at certain levels and no change at others. 

All told, points at the Polynesian will cost significantly more than either Riviera or the Ft Wilderness cabins. A first time buyer pays $225 per point for 200 Polynesian points, or $45,000 plus closing costs and fees. That same number of points goes for $42,200 at Riviera or $41,000 at Ft Wilderness. 

Aulani incentives are generally very similar to the last cycle. However, like Rivera and the Cabins, the best discounts kick in at a lower purchase level. First time buyers save $26 per point off a 200-point purchase while current owners benefit from the same savings on 150 or more.  

And for the last of the actively-selling destinations, The Villas at Disneyland Hotel is generally unchanged at the lower levels but has some decent incentive increases for those new buys of 200 points and add-ons of 150 or more. 

The base price for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel is higher at $245 each. 200 vacation points currently goes for $215 each for a new member and $211 for a current owner adding-on. 

Finally, one sold-out resort currently has incentives, but it appears to be limited to just current DVC owners adding-on. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas sports a base price of $215 per point. Incentives range from $10 per point for an add-on of 100 points to $20 off of 150 or more.  This is the shortest-term discounted purchase with contracts for Animal Kingdom Villas expiring in January 2057. Also this particular offer is only valid now through August 13, 2025. 

Incentives for Riviera, Ft Wilderness, Polynesian, Aulani and Disneyland Hotel are scheduled to remain available now through September 29, 2025.  

Disney Vacation Club's Magical Beginnings program may apply to certain resort purchases. Magical Beginnings allows buyers to effectively sell back their first year's set of points in return for an additional credit of $20 per point. Additional discounts may be offered for D23 members, Chase Disney Cardholders, active duty military and other groups.
